They are not legal advice, compliance advice, or any other form of professional advice, and nothing on this site or produced by Nexiel's APIs should be treated as such.

Using Nexiel does not itself guarantee regulatory compliance

Using Nexiel's products does not, by itself, guarantee or establish compliance with any law or regulation, including EU AML Directives, eIDAS 2.0, GDPR, the EU AI Act, or any other applicable regime. Nexiel's client organization (as the obliged entity, data controller, and/or party responsible for its own regulatory obligations) retains full and final responsibility for its own compliance program, risk appetite, and every decision it makes using Nexiel's outputs. This includes, for example, what action to take on a POSSIBLE_MATCHscreening result: Nexiel's systems will never auto-clear such a result, but the human review, investigation, and final decision remain the client's own responsibility.

Nexiel's role: tooling and infrastructure

Nexiel provides software tooling and infrastructure to help clients run screening and verification checks. Nexiel does not act as, and should not be treated as, the client's compliance officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, Data Protection Officer, or legal advisor. Clients remain responsible for maintaining their own compliance function, policies, and controls, and for obtaining independent legal advice appropriate to their own jurisdiction and circumstances.
